Owen K. Laurion is an fan of science fiction as well as a long time member of the N3F. He was an editor of TNFF from 1979 - 1983 and Tightbeam from 1984 - 1986. He recieved the Kaymar Award in 1982. He edited Alpha Centaura's clubzine, The Alpha Centaura Communicator.

His short short story, The Way It Was is included in the anthology, Fifty Extremely SF* Stories, edited by Michael Bastraw.
