Boskone 21 was held February 17-19, 1984 at the Boston Park Plaza. The GoH was Gene Wolfe, the Official Artist was Vincent Di Fate and the Special Guest was David Hartwell. It was chaired by Rick Katze and attendance was 2718.
Rapid growth continued, but this Boskone managed to regain a measure of organization. This was the first year that the title "Special Guest" was used.
The Boskone Book was Planet Engineering, a collection of stories by Gene Wolfe.
