Albacon 1998 (Albacon #3) was a convention held October 9-11, 1998 at the Ramada Inn in Schenectady, NY. Esther Friesner (GoH), Jael (Artist GoH), Joe Mayhew (Fan GoH), The Don't Quit Your Day Job Players (Musical GoH), Bruno the Hamster (aka Captain Bruno) (Special GoH). Chairman: Danielle Allen, Kevin Allen & Joe Berlant, Regents.
