The 1997 World Fantasy Convention (held simultaneously with Fantasycon XXI) was held October 30-November 2, 1997 at the International Hotel in London, England. The GoHs were Joan Aiken, Iain Sinclair, with Bob Eggleton as Guest Artist, Hugh B. Cave and R. Chetwynd-Hayes as Special Guests, and Doug Bradley as Special Media Guest. The convention theme was "The Centenary of Dracula/The Hidden Realms of London', the Master of Ceremonies was Robert Holdstock and it was chaired by Jo Fletcher.
