The 2001 GUFF race was to send a fan couple from Australia/New Zealand to the 2001 Eastercon, Paragon in Hinckley, UK. The candidates were Eric Lindsay & Jean Weber (joint) and Damien Warman & Juliette Woods (joint). Lindsay and Weber won, and they made side trip to Corflu in New England.
