A pioneer Canadian fan who edited SupraMundane Stories, the first Canadian genzine, in the late 30s and contributed illos to many American fanzines (sometimes under his own name and sometimes under the penname Herkanos.) The War fafiated him.
He won the Fanzine Fanac Awards Society's "Hall of Fame" award for 2011.
