NAFF (the National Australian Fan Fund) helps Australian fans to attend the Australian National Convention.
It was established with leftover funds of a discontinued fan club. The Fund was Sue Ann Barber's idea, and she has continued to help administer it. Grant Watson was also involved in establishing NAFF. Dave Cake was responsible for the name.
There seems not to have been any NAFF race in 2018, which (if so) can perhaps be excused due to GUFF having announced that it would that year be targetting Continuum rather than the Australian Natcon.
The following year, a call for nominations was posted on the website of the Australian Science Fiction Foundation. That year's NAFF race was administered by, or with the assistance of, Gina Goddard, who had won NAFF in 2010.
