The N3F membership roster in 1948 gave her address as 3624 Lake Park Avenue in Chicago. This is exactly the address in the following 1950 census record:
Elsie Janda the fan was therefore born around 1912. I suggest that she was probably the Elsie Mary Janda born May 17, 1911 in Chicago to Joseph Janda and Mary Bartusek:
