This is a page about a convention bid. Please extend it by adding information about who was bidding, officers, committee list, what they were bidding for, who their opponents were, and who won.

  1. It is common in Uganda to state family name first, followed by given name, somewhat like in Hungary (not to mention China); see for example 2019 newspaper essay. This led to some confusion on the bid website and related publicity where both forms may be used without making the context clear – for example the quoted con committee list in File 770 is (with an exception or two) surname-first, even as the editorial parts of the article mention the chair as "Micheal Kabunga". There have also been misspellings "Michael".
