Frances Sykora (later Racic) attended the first Worldcon, Nycon 1, in 1939. She later served as “girl reporter” for Fantasy-News and belonged to the QSFL.
She was the sister of Triumvir Will Sykora. In 1941, she married another fan, Mario Racic, who had been on the Nycon concom.
