Tim Lane, a Kentucky fan based in Louisville, edited the fanzine FOSFAX. He was known for strong mundane political opinions of the right wing persuasion.
He was engaged to fan Elizabeth Garrott for many years; they never married, though she was listed as his fiancée in his death notices. Lane was originally from Alexandria, VA, and worked as a computer programmer.
