Robert M. Sabella, a New Jersey fanzine fan, was the publisher and editor of the perzine Visions of Paradise (VoP), of which 170 issues were published over 40 years, the final issue appeared in October 2011. In 2000, he published the book Who Shaped Science Fiction?
A member of the N3F, Sabella edited Tightbeam in 2004-05 and edited The National Fantasy Fan in 2004-06. At the time of his death, Sabella was serving as the OE of FAPA, which he’d belonged to for 14 years.
Shortly before his death, Sabella had retired from his career as a math teacher.
