Equicon '74 was the last iteration of Equicon which was still a regional convention, though it was well on its way to being a Star Trek convention. It was held April 12-14, 1974 at the Marriott Hotel at LAX. The GoH was D. C. Fontana while Gene Roddenberry and Majel Barrett were Special GoHs. Helen Young was Fan GoH.
It was co-chaired by John Trimble and Craig Miller.
