Mike Scott, also known as Dr. Plokta, is a British fan who is a member of the Plokta Cabal. He is both a fanzine fan and a convention fan. He has been a member of the CUSFS (and was its chair), the Chester & District SF Group and the Warrington SF Group. He led the victorious London in 2014 Worldcon bid. He was married to Alison Scott.

He won the 2005 Best Fanzine Hugo and the 2006 Best Fanzine Hugo for Plokta, and also received nominations in 1999-2005 and 2007-2008.
