DeepSouthCon 45 was held September 7-9, 2007 in conjunction with OutsideCon 20 in Dickson, TN. The attendance was about 120 and Robert W. Embler was chairman. Clifton E. Gibbs was "Very Special Guest", GoHs: Christina Barber as "Guest Author" and Brenna Walters as "Guest Artist".
The Rebel Award went to Bill Payne, "Dutch" Stacy, & Mickey Kilgore while Tom Deitz won the Phoenix Award. The Rubble Award went to Xerpes (Frank Kalisz & Millie Kalisz) "for the invention of 'Skippy' punch."
