V-Con 9, Canvention 2, was held May 22-24, 1981 t the Holiday Inn Harbourside in Vancouver, BC. The GoH was Vonda McIntyre, and the Fan GoH was Jon Gustafson.
Jon Singer was toastmaster, it was chaired by Fran Skene and attendance was about 650.
