Minicon 14 was a convention held April 9–11, 1982 at the Minneapolis Radisson. Guests of Honor: John Varley, Clifford Simak and Spider Robinson. The convention did not have a chairman, but was run by an executive committee consisting of Don Bailey, Steven Bond, Scott Imes, and Rene Brust.
It appears that it was numbered 14 partly because its theme was "Forward into the Past" and partly because Minicon 14 had been skipped (see Minicon 13 for details) and partly because it was beautifully confusing.
