-The Best Cover Artist [[Hugo]] category was a one-time category, awarded only in [[1953]] at [[Philcon II]], the first year the [[Hugos]] were awarded.  It was replaced in 1955 (the next year the [[Hugos]] were awarded) with [[Best Professional Artist]]. This latter category has survived, and consequently was also awarded for the [[1954 Retro Hugo Awards]] and the [[1951 Retro Hugo Awards]].
