A bid to host the 1987 Worldcon in Vancouver, BC. Its competition was Britain in '87 and Phoenix in 1987. It shut down in late 1981 or early 1982 (well before before the filing deadline) and did not appear on the ballot. See 1987 Worldcon Site Selection.
In mid-1979, the Vancouver in '84 bid merged into the Vancouver in '87 bid.
The Vancouver in '87 bid sponsored Rain Two and Rain Tree, but collapsed before Rain Fore which it had also been planning to sponsor.
