William Herbert Groveman, called Bill and Will, was an early New York fan. He is remembered for coining tripewriter. He was a lifelong member of NAPA, and belonged to FAPA in the 1940s.

He intended to go to the First Worldcon in 1939, but was one of several fans who mistook the date and arrived on July 4, when the hall was closed and everyone was at the Softball Game.

Groveman was an Army private during World War II and afterwards became an antiquarian bookseller. While he remained active in the ajay world, he doesn’t seem to have been around fandom after the ’40s.
