There's a single birth record for a Henry Moskowitz born in Manhattan on June 7, 1936, and no other Henry Moskowitz births around then. Without further evidence it may be wiser to just say "around 1937", since there were many Moskowitz families in NYC at the time. Census records say he was born in New York around 1937, and in 1940 he was living with his parents and some older in-laws (probably his father's older sister and her husband) in Manhattan. There's a single birth record for a Henry Moskowitz born in Manhattan on June 7, 1936, and no other Henry Moskowitz births around then. Without further evidence it may be wiser to just say "around 1937", since there were many Moskowitz families in NYC at the time.
