The U.S. state of Florida is home to South Florida, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale fandoms. Necronomicon is held in Tampa by the Stone Hill SF Association.
The Lynnhavention in 1950 was Florida’s first real con, not counting the Cosmic Circle’s three-person Live Oak Conference in 1943.
