An Australian newszine with editors over the years including (alphabetically) Andrew Brown, Lyn Burns, Peter Burns, Greg Hills, Irwin Hirsh, Mark Loney, LynC, Clive Newall, Alan Stewart, Roger Weddall. There are some reports that Brown earlier published (or wanted to name this?) Melbourne Fanewsletter, but see below.

Thyme has won the Ditmar Award for Best (Australian) Fanzine three times: 1987, 1995, and 1997.

Some issues had other fanzines stappled in. These included (not all at once): Ansible, Artychoke, Australian SF News, The Instrumentality.

1 1 July 1981 (sic) 4 Headline THYME ONE, "edited and published by Irwin Hirsh and Andrew Brown" but "produced entirely by me, Irwin, as Andrew mumbled […] "4000 words" and "by this Wednesday". He’s even too busy to verify any of the stories".
News of "DUFFee" and "GUFFer" stays, "at the business session of the Australian Science Fiction Society amend[m]ents were made such that it is now the Australasian SFS, which allows for bids to be made from New Zealand. An amend[m]ent was made to standardise the design of the Ditmar. A proposal was put forward to make the Queen’s Birthday weekend the perman[e]nt date for the convention. I'm glad it was rejected as it […] could restrict future con committees […] Us students just ask to be considered when putting a date to future NatCons, especially as students make up a large percentage of […] attendees."
