John Brooks, a St Louis, Missouri, fan active in the ’70s and ’80s, was a founder of the St. Louis Science Fiction Society and Archon. He chaired Archon 5 and Archon 7.

His younger brothers, Michael and David Brooks, were active in the local club as well.
