Graustark was the first-ever Diplomacy-by-mail fanzine, published by John Boardman. It has at least 793 issues (we have an excellent list, but this webpage is too small to list it) starting in the ’60s and continuing (at least) to mid-2013.

The title comes from the name of a fictional country in Eastern Europe, used as a setting for several novels by George Barr McCutcheon.

See also: Ruritania, Fredonia.
