A short-lived bid to bring the 2007 Worldcon to Washington, DC. They were not on the site selection ballot. The other bidders were Baltimore in 2007, Columbus in 2007, and the winning Nippon 2007 bid.
They said of themselves: "The DC in 007 Bid Committee will have a brand-new Washington Convention Center and a license to thrill. To finance our bold bid, we will be printing our own fannish currency featuring portraits of well-known SF pros and fans. If you collect twenty-five Fan Bucks and vote, you will receive a free membership conversion when we win the bid in 2004."
