JordanCon VIII (which was also DeepSouthCon 54) was held April 22-24, 2016 at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center in Atlanta, GA. The GoHs were Catherine Asaro, John Picacio.

DSC 54 was awarded to JordanCon as a rescue after ABC-DSC was cancelled.

The Phoenix Award was given to Jana Oliver and (posthumously) Eugie Foster. The Rebel Award was given to Bill Harrison, a long time convention volunteer for multiple Southern conventions and to Pat Henry of Dragoncon. The Rubble Award went to the Governor of North Carolina.
