Probably the first organized Tolkien club, it was founded by Ted Johnstone in 1960 and held its organizational meeting at Pittcon. It dissolved in the mid-60s. It's clubzine was I Palantir and it provided prizes for Tolkien art in Worldcon art shows.
It had a British subgroup which included Ken Cheslin.
Members included Bruce Pelz.
