Sid Klepper was a fan from Manchester, UK active in the 1950s. He was a member of the Nor'west Science Fantasy Club and was on the committee of Mancon in 1952, acting as treasurer for both.
The Mancon programme included an item '"Exposé" by Klepper and Bill Jesson' at 6pm. The convention does seem over-programmed and some items were dropped, including this one, so we'll likely never know what they had in mind although whatever it was it was only going to take 10 minutes. It is possible, however, that it's an allusion to Jesson's appearance costumed as the 'Man from Planet X' which Sandy Sanderson thought 'rather amusing'[1] and the Liverpool Group considered 'rather feeble' and 'after the great publicity and build-up before the con [it] came as something of an anti-climax'[2].
