(July 20, 1906 – March 4, 2000)

William McCoy Danner, a Pennsylvania fan and fanzine editor, published A Dangerous Thing for VAPA in the 1940s.

From the 1950s until just before his death, he published Stefantasy, a letterpress printed zine, setting the type by hand. He pubbed through Skreughball Press, his publishing house and letterpress. He created the FATE Tape for FAPA in 1955.

Danner was known for his strong views on printing — he was described as a "puristical user" of real, lead-type, letterpress repro. He was a member of NAPA.

He wrote a few short stories, beginning with an Astounding appearance in 1942.

His photo appears in Harry Warner's A Wealth of Fable (SCIFI Press, 1992, p. 112).
