John E. Koestner was a bookseller and possibly fan from New York active in the 1940s and perhaps earlier and later. An advertisement for his business appears in Scientifantasy #4 (Summer 1949).
Koestner was made an honorary member of the British Fantasy Library in 1947, presumably for some services rendered to UK fandom.
