The Cranfan was a British fanzine published by Sid Birchby for 'The Cranwell Group'. There is only one known issue.

Cranwell was the No. 1 RAF signals school. Several fans were stationed there at some point including Eric Frank Russell, Roland Forster and David McIlwain, and at a later date Derek Gardiner. Harry Turner may also have been there at one point although he was at No 2. school with Arthur C. Clarke. The fanzine was however published by Sid Birchby in London.
