Denmark's oldest and largest fan group, founded in Copenhagen in 1974. It has since the start been enormously ambitious in its activities, publishing not only two fanzines – Proxima, a semi-professional and semi-annual magazine publishing both fiction and critical/historical texts about sf, and Novum, a quarterly member fanzine – but also an impressive number of books, both original and translated, sf as well as nonfiction about sf. With around 200 members, the club's activities also include club meetings and outreach activities, and it has so far arranged three major Danish sf conventions: Fabiula77 in 1977, Fabula80 in 1980, and Fabula96 (you can guess when). The current (2023) club president is Niels Dalgaard.

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.
When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can! |
