A perzine published by Fred Lerner since August 1979 and included in FAPA. It often deals with travel and matters bibliographic and typically runs 5-10 pages. It takes its title from the final word of Beowulf, which is the only known use of the word in Anglo-Saxon and means approximately "desirous of fame or renown". Several pieces from Lofgeornost were reprinted in A Bookman's Fantasy (NESFA Press, 1995). It won the FAAn Award for Best Apazine in 2019.
