: Great find again, I had been curious about this one. I am all for updating pages with sourced period details without hesitation (what else is Fanac.org, and Fancy, for?). The article mentions a subpoena, charges, felony and misdemeanor, so it is no wonder that this got simplified in general memory. --[[User:JVjr|JVjr]] ([[User talk:JVjr|talk]]) 11:38, 17 March 2023 (PDT)

Kranold v. Ackerman?[edit]

I'm not sure if Kranold ever sued Ackerman per se; what I do see is that he reported him to the State Board of Industrial Relations for operating a literary agency without a license. If we update this page, we should also clarify LASFS#Death Will Not Release You. —Bee Ostrowsky (talk) 08:09, 17 March 2023 (PDT)
