A British fan, filker and con-goer since the age of 12; she is the daughter of fan and filker Joe Raftery. She has served on numerous concoms, and was filk programme head for Loncon 3 in 2014.
The first con she programmed was a Harry Potter convention that her sister Emily Raftery wanted to run to celebrate the release of the final movie in 2011: when, a month before the con, the programmer "flaked out" and quit, they had to take over.
She won TAFF in 2016 and was TAFF Administrator the following year. Her TAFF trip included New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Kansas City, where she participated in the filk program and announced the winners of the Hugo Fan Awards at MidAmeriCon II.
