Westercon 1, aka the First Annual West Coast Scienti-Fantasy Conference, was held Sept 5, 1948, in the Park View Manor Hotel in Los Angeles. It was chaired by E. Everett Evans and sponsored by LASFS. There was no GoH. Attendance was 77.
