An sf bookstore opened in 1980 at 444 Hudson St in NYC. It specialized in old and rare children's, illustrated and SF and Fantasy books, including Baum and Oz but as it grew it came to be more of a general children's books store. As of 2020 it is still in business, though at different locations.
