Lawrence M. Schoen is an American fan, author, publisher, psychologist, hypnotist, and expert in the Klingon language. He was nominated for the 2007 Campbell Award and the 2010 Best Short Story Hugo. He organized the San Marino in 2019 hoax bid.

He is the author of Barsk: The Elephants' Graveyard (2015, Tor Books).
