Scoops was a UK tabloid boy's paper that saw 20 weekly issues between February 10 June 24, 1934. Contributors included A. M. Low, Maurice G. Hugi and John Russell Fearn. The SFE notes that, 'The use of the term "science fiction" in the Summer 1934 to describe the Doyle serial[1] seems to represent its first professional use in the UK'. It is the UK's first sf magazine although some point to Tales of Wonder as the first adult equivalent.
