Outlaw Mutation Boogie is a fanzine published by Mark Plummer, first for the Acnestis APA and from #60 (May 2002) as a perzine. The title is derived from a rock and roll party of that name in 1960s San Francisco referenced in Emmett Grogan's Ringolevio but you shouldn't read too much into that as Plummer is notoriously bad at titles.

Unoriginally, it doesn't really have an issue #1 as its author didn't really know what he was doing. Further evidence of this comes with a total failure to manage consecutive numbering starting in early 1994 with normality only being established in early 1997 by pretending ignorance of the #28. After a two-page valedictory for Acnestis in August 2001 Plummer resurrected the title as an approximately annual perzine. The absence of any issues since 2008 may indicate that it is no longer active but its author is unwilling to draw a final line under this one.
