A bid to hold the 1974 Worldcon at the Mount Royal Hotel in Montreal, QB. It was led by Richard Labonté. It did not file and was not on the site selection ballot.

See 1974 Worldcon Site Selection.

It is unclear how far this bid went, but it was advertised in Energumen issue #1 and notice of is dissolution was sent to Locus #63 (September 15, 1970) by Labonte who reported that they had quit because that had been unable to secure enough hotel rooms and that the Toronto in '73 bid had formed. The committee threw its support to DC in '74, which won.
