His address as of 1945, according to Ad Infinitum #5, was 568 Audubon Ave in New York, and he said in the first issue that his purpose was giving "young fans, of which I am one myself, a medium".
This matches up perfectly with a 1950 census record for Allan Weinstein, 20 years old, at 568 Audubon Ave with his parents Phillip, 42, and Helen, 41, and younger brother Warren, 16, all born in NY.
In the census of April 1, 1930, he was 3 months old and the family lived in the Bronx with Helen's family, the Greenspans.
There is a birth index record for an Allen Weinstein born January 17, 1930 in the Bronx. If that's him, then he got "a bachelor's degree from New York University, a master's degree from Brooklyn College and a doctorate in fuel technology from Penn State University", according to his obit and his Find a Grave page. Sounds like the sort of bright young kid who would be hektoing his first fanzine at the age of 14 and a half.
