Shadow-FAPA was a small apa for FAPA waitlisters. It is very difficult to see how it differed from an apa, so there was FAPA itself and also Shadow FAPA for people waiting to get into FAPA. (It must have been slightly odd to be a part of an apa in which every member joined for the purpose of escaping it.)
It was on hiatus from 1964 to mid-1966, when Dave Van Arnam took over as editor. It existed as late as 1981.
