Raymond "Duggie" Fisher was a fan from Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He co-chaired the St. Louiscon in 1969 with his wife, Joyce Fisher. He was on the con-committee for Ozarkcon 1-5 in St. Louis from 1965 through 1969 and was a founding member of the Poplar Bluff Science Fiction Club in the 1950s and Ozark Science Fiction Association (OSFA) in St. Louis in the 1960s. He was also host for meetings of The Saturday People, in St. Louis, during the 1960s.

Duggie and Joyce Worley were married July 21 1956 and the marriage lasted until 1970. After their divorce, Joyce would eventually marry Arnie Katz.

Duggie died in 1988 from complications of diabetes. He was cremated, and his ashes were scattered at the Poplar Bluff public library, a place where he spent much of his youth. He was survived by a son, Jason E. Fisher of Wood River, IL.
