Melissa Williamson is a filk fan who won a Pegasus Award in 1988 under the name of Peregryn Wyndryder.
Under her own name, she has been a member of Apanage since mailing 130 in March 1992—and contributed half a dozen times from the waitlist in the two and a half years prior. She has published over 200 issues of her apazine, Farther Up and Further In, as of January 2025.
