Another well-behaved letter except when people tie it up with h. Such important words as fantasy and sulfa- were once so spelled. P was the pseudo middle initial of Claire P. Beck, standing for Poverty, and he desired it dropped at the time (end of 1938) of his epic hitch-hike to NY and back to Lakeport, when it became too bitterly true.
