The Jungle of Inexperience refers to the many common pitfalls encountered by neofen as they make their way into fandom.
While in The Enchanted Duplicator these are problems of fanzine reproduction encountered by Jophan and his fellow travelers — the notorious Torrent of Overinking (with rescue via Slip Sheets) and the hordes of monstrous typos (for which the Spirit of Fandom bestows healing Correcting Fluid) — every aspect of fandom has hazards that only care and know-how can overcome.
