North Shore Futurian Society

The North Shore Futurian Society (NSFS) was a club in Sydney, NSW.

It was started by M. A. Bos and J. G. Crawford in 1952. Their clubzine was N.S.F.S Notesheet.

In its sixth issue (July 1953) the 'Club Notes' section reported:

The North Shore Futurian Society is now the second largest Science Fiction group in Australia, with 60 membrs and a large S-F Library of five hundred items. The N. S.F. S. now has five members abroad, four in British Isles, and one in the United States. These members are supplied regularly with this Notesheet and other Australian literature.

The postal service for country and Interstate members is becoming more popular, with readers in N.S.W, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

Membership to the N.S.F.S. is 5/- per Annum for Aust. Fen or for Overseas Fen, 3 current U.S promags or one hardcover book.
