Jim Macdonald is a fan and pro who lives in northern New Hampshire where he writes mostly fantasy with his wife, Debra Doyle. He is a moderator of the blog Making Light. Under the handle of Yog Sysop he was the highly effective moderator of the GEnie SF forum. He is a teacher at the annual Viable Paradise writer's conference.
